Mighty Media Group, Inc. and its Founder and CEO Ronald Unkefer have been leading investors and operators in FM and AM broadcast stations for almost three decades. The company began in 1993 by purchasing and operating the legendary San Francisco stations KSFO and KYA in San Francisco. A subsequent investment grew to become the radio industry leader in the nation for maximizing station values by managing spectrum. The company relocated existing small market stations through a complex process in order to create over 20+ new major market FM radio stations in markets such as Dallas, Sacramento, Kansas City and Atlanta. As CEO and majority owner of the company, Ronald developed proprietary software to maximize the process and was issued six patents for SpectraMax spectrum maximization software. This development expertise was also expanded to upgrade FM Translators located in dozens of states across the U.S. Mighty Media Group purchased, operated operating and relocated over 70 of these "mini FM" stations to maximize population coverage for each of these licenses. Once fully developed, each of these FM Translators were ultimately sold to several dozen existing radio operators . Through this process the company was able to help these individual, mostly smaller market radio owner/operators expand their local services in their existing and contiguous markets. During its 25 years of broadcast station ownership and operations, Mighty Media Group developed expertise in streaming, website design and development, internet commerce, and interactive digital display advertising. On December 31, 2018 Mighty Media Group LP merged with First Ventures Capital Partners Inc. and the combined entity was renamed Mighty Media Group, Inc. on January 2, 2019. Mighty Media Group Inc. is now focused on creating video streaming applications and websites. The app currently in development is an integrated turnkey app and website solution initially customized to benefit non-profits.
