MIUUR is a fine leather goods firm that highlights the importance of details and curated design. Handcrafted in Spain following an upcycling production approach, its limited collections serve responsible purchasing patterns, tending to avoid overproduction and promoting a slow, conscious and high-quality fashion model. The House pursues a refined yet casual aesthetic enhanced by a modern and transeasonal approach. ABOUT THE BRAND & INSPIRATION Established in 2021 by architect Ignacio Cristofori and fashion connoisseur Tamara Maestro, MIUUR combines contemporary design and meticulous Spanish craftsmanship to create long lasting pieces from the finest materials. Spending their life between Europe and Asia, the husband and wife duo develops its own signature merging Mediterranean eclectic lifestyle with a particular care for details, infused in the brand’s essence. As the story of the founders, the label represents the precise balance between antagonistic elements. While the phonetics of “muur” brings the tangible solidity of the wall in western languages, the kanji 美 “mi” stands for the intangible sense of beauty and aesthetics in Asian culture. Inspired by the plasticity of modern architecture and the strength of simplistic body shapes, MIUUR evokes the uniqueness of artistic intuition and nostalgic cultural roots to curate refined collections that transcend trends.
