The Monroeville / Monroe County Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose of advancing the commercial, industrial, civic and general interests in Monroe County and the City of Monroeville. The mission of the Monroeville | Monroe County Chamber of Commerce is to welcome visitors and new residents to our area, promote the business community, and work to improve the quality of life in the Monroe County community. The Chamber, on the Square in Downtown Monroeville, serves the entire county and maintains information on major employers, area businesses, civic clubs, city and county officials, legislative contacts, demographics, visitor and relocation packages, and news releases. We are a member-based organization composed of retailers, small businesses, organizations, industries, business professionals and individuals who come together to do what they cannot do individually. We are here to promote and support the business community, welcome visitors and new residents and help to improve the quality of life for residents of Monroe County through events and community activities. Monroeville, the county seat of Monroe County, combines the conveniences and amenities of an urban lifestyle, with the charm of a small town. Other incorporated municipalities include Beatrice, Excel, Frisco City, and Vredenburgh.
