About R Etchells & Son

Etchells is an Independantly Owned Family Company that was founded in 1968. The Company has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the manufacturing of wooden based Commercial and Consumer Products. The last eight years Etchells expertise has been utilised within the volume production of Fireplaces and Fireplace Suites for the Social Housing Market and the Leisure Homes Industry, together with the production of various other finished wooden componants for many well known Building and Construction Company's. Prior to all this, back in the early days we were one of the biggest manufactures of Fireplace Mantles and Suites to the Retail Fireplace Industry but due to the downturn in retail generally around late 2005 we diversified decided to concentrate all our efforts in supplying Housing Associations etc. In the Summer of this year it was decided to make a return to the Retail Sector with the launch of a range of Premium Quality Electric Fireplace Suites, Free Standing and Inset Stoves under the dakk Brand
