About Murkani Jewellery

Murkani was started in 2013 by Australian designer Kiralee McNamara with a few hand drawn sketches. Having worked in the corporate world for many years, it was Kiralee’s dream to create her own everyday luxe jewellery range. Murkani is the result of that dream. Murkani is handcrafted, contemporary jewellery with a bohemian aesthetic. Designed to be mixed and matched and layered. Designs are inspired by Kiralee’s love of architecture, art and travel. Drawn by repetitive patterns found in locations such as Morocco, Turkey and India, most pieces feature decorative elements combined with a hammered, organic finish. We use solid 925 Sterling Silver as well as 2 micron 18 KT Yellow Gold Plate and Rose Gold Plate onto brass. All metals and stones are natural and made of the highest quality. All pieces are lead and nickel free. Our pieces are handcrafted by skilled artisans in South East Asia using a variety of traditional and modern techniques.
