The device not only protects the respiratory health of both patients and medical staff, but minimizes the liability risk for surgery room operators. As a general surgeon for 30 years, he has been involved in the research and development of viable solutions for the removal of the surgical plume in the operating room. Dr. Schultz holds multiple patents, both domestic and international, related to these commercial products.
