About Nepalese Student Association at KU
The Nepalese Students Association (NSA) at the University of Kansas is dedicated to fostering community, cultural exchange, and mutual support among Nepalese students and the broader KU community. Our primary goals are: -Establishing strong relationships and cooperation among Nepalese students at KU. -Promoting Nepalese culture through various activities and events. -Assisting new students with their transition from Nepal to KU by providing essential resources, including housing assistance, cultural acclimatization, and social integration. NSA organizes in-person and virtual meetups, especially during Nepalese festivals, where students exchange blessings, share experiences, and strengthen connections. These gatherings provide a supportive space for new students to navigate the challenges of adjusting to life in Lawrence, KS. Our meetups are flexible, taking place on or around Nepalese holidays, with invitations sent to all members on our mailing list.
