About Nevada Rural Electric Association
The Nevada Rural Electric Association (NREA) was founded in 1974 to represent electric cooperatives and public power across the state of Nevada. Today, our membership includes one Municipal Utility, six Distribution Electric Cooperatives, two Generation and Transmission Cooperatives and three Power Districts. Mission: Partnering to advocate and advance the benefits of consumer-owner power and to provide value for our utility members. Vision: Be the trusted voice of consumer-owned utilities in Nevada. Values: NREA pursues its objectives with a commitment to Integrity, Innovation, and Cooperation.
