About New England Woodcraft
Founded in 1961 by Harmon and Maxine Thurston, New England Woodcraft manufactures high quality custom contract furniture built to meet the durability requirements of Colleges, the Military as well as Supportive Housing organizations. Still run by the Thurston family and located in the central Vermont town of Brandon, we’ve been building furniture from the highest quality northern hardwoods since 1961. Our extensive list of standard design options can be customized to meet your individual needs, including meeting all current ADA standards. Our finishing department only uses environmentally friendly, extremely durable, UV cured water based finishes. We have the capabilities to produce large quantities of furniture, but we are small enough to adapt our production to your specific needs. New England Woodcraft has recognized the need to practice environmentally sound principles that allow us to minimize our impact on the world around us, while producing high quality furniture. We continue to search for ways to reduce our effect on the environment and to promote the protection of our natural resources.
