About Newenden Associates

Newenden Associates has been advising on and implementing efficient and cost-effective business IT systems for over 20 years. We have primarily worked with SME businesses of between 10 and 500 users, and are proud of our long-standing client base. We have been a Microsoft Partner for most of that time, and their server, desktop, Office applications and now Cloud services – Office 265 and Azure – form the core of the majority of systems we have implemented and supported. We are gradually moving clients’ systems from on-premise servers to Office 365 and Azure, which introduces new functionality to improve communication and collaboration within an increasing mobile workforce. We continue to support on-premise solutions where appropriate, whether due to specific business needs or a lack of adequate broadband capacity for Cloud services to work effectively. We have experience with a number of major security vendors including SonicWall threat-management firewalls and services, Draytek SME firewall routers, Panda Security anti-malware, which includes web security and anti-ransomware protection. Our networking portfolio includes HP Aruba switches for medium to enterprise projects, and we use some other vendors in small and more cost-sensitive environments. We also undertake pure consultancy projects for larger organisations, from analysing the impact on IT systems prior to divesting a business to integrating an acquisition. Whatever we do, we are proud of our ability to understand and discuss our clients’ business needs with the minimum of tech-speak, and aim to fulfil their overriding mantra: “We just want it to work!” We look forward to discussing your needs and aspirations, and assisting with the IT systems to enable them!
