With the experience I have in building and the extensive knowledge of the City of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs I can assure my clients of a real understanding for what they are looking for, an exhaustive search for comparison and quality consultation when important questions need to be answered. I grew up in Oak Park and graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School in 1987. I then went on to study Japanese Language/Business at Southern Illinois University for four years afterwhich I spent one year working for Ricoh Co. in Niigata, Japan. The experience then led me to the commodity markets at the Chicago Board of Trade where I worked as a bilingual broker with Japanese institutional investors from all over the world until 2001. While employed in the commodity markets I purchased my first building in 1993 and have been an active investor ever since. I now own eleven units in Lakeview and East Village which I completely rehabbed as my own general contractor/developer. I have traded real estate and even spent one year working as a project manager for a developer to learn more about the building/contracting business. Along with Japanese I studied Spanish from the 7th through the 12th grade and am proficient in both languages. In my spare time I enjoy travelling and have used my Spanish during my trips to Central and South America. The most interesting trip being the 3-day hike to Machu Picchu during my month-long stay in Peru and Bolivia. Real Estate is more of a passion to me than a career. I love meeting and working with clients and feel that there is something to be learned from everybody. My devotion to this business in every aspect is why I feel I can be a beneficial representative for my clients throughout the buying or selling process.
