That’s where the NICOLE Foundation comes in. We exist to close the gap between pollution’s long-term impacts and the practical expertise, funding, and partnerships required to resolve them. We deploy rapid, science-led interventions in regions where the ‘polluter pays’ principle fails – or where funding and technical capacity fall short, and urgent action is needed. Whether post-conflict landscapes or coastal ecosystems, we bring environmental specialists, funders, and community leaders together to turn degradation into measurable recovery. Our mission is simple but essential: to protect people and ecosystems where no one else can – restoring land, protecting health, and strengthening environmental resilience. Since 2023, we’ve evolved from rapid-response volunteer efforts to delivering complex, multi-partner solutions for global partners like the UN Environment Programme. Every project we lead is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals – and designed with transparency, rigour, and long-term impact at its core. We’re not just responding to pollution.
