We are a proudly South African firm of Chartered Accountants, registered with Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA), established in January 1993 and accredited by the JSE to audit JSE listed companies. We have more than 30 Partners and Registered Auditors and over 400 professional staff. Our offices are located in Gauteng, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and the North West Provinces. We have global expertise as a member firm of Kreston International, who has with more than 23 000 professionals spread across 100 countries. We believe in promoting and sharing thought leadership for Audit Committee Members and we do this through sponsoring the Annual Audit Committee Conference each year, as well as the Thought Leadership on Integrated Reporting through Annual Integrated Reporting Awards for the Top 100 JSE Listed Companies and for the Schedule 2 State Owned Companies. The company is 100% black owned, and is partnered with the Institute of Directors to train Audit Committee members on Audit Committee Effectiveness using the ACE Model through a book authored by the company’s former CEO. The book is entitled “Winning Formula for Audit Committees” Further to that, the company has an in-house accredited IFRS Advisor and a Technical department capacitated to support assurance services, as well as an in-house Learning Centre to empower professional staff to excel in Technical Knowledge and Service Delivery. In 2013, Nkonki Inc’s former CEO was awarded the Overall Professional of the Year due to the Professional Integrity applied by the firm in formulating audit opinions.
