About Noah's Pink Balloon Leukaemia Fund
Noah's Pink Balloon Leukaemia Fund was founded in July 2021, in memory and honour of our beautiful son Noah, who was diagnosed with Leukaemia in May 2020 and died at the age of five on 05th June 2020. With medical research at its heart, the Charity will work with best-in class Universities and research institutions to help find a cure for leukaemia and life threatening infections for children with leukaemia hospitalised during treatment because of a highly compromised immune system. We have chosen to fund two highly underfunded areas of medicine - paediatric haematology/oncology and invasive fungal infections where there is an urgency to develop better diagnostic tools, less invasive treatment and improved clinical management for all. 100% of all funds raised goes into medical research. Uniquely, before we go to market, we will have selected a world class medical research project. Our end goal is to create a sustainable legacy for Noah and to ensure longevity to help improve life outcomes for all children and their families faced with a blood cancer diagnosis.
