About Non-Governmental Organization DOIT

DOIT is a non-governmental organization established with the main goal to contribute to the development of the information society in B&H through the use of information technologies. Before we established doIT in 2012, we had worked together on a series of community development projects during our studies. This successful cooperation strengthened our conviction and determination to unite our efforts and channel our shared vision through a non-govermental organization of our own. And so doIT was born. We think of doIT as a smart compound where do stands for taking initiative, while IT stands for technology. These two words express the main idea behind doIT: a strategic partner and nexus - a vibrant community for tech talent, leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators and technology businesses of all shapes and sizes that connect and collaborate to create effective partnerships and long-lasting impact in society through IT. With headquarters in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and an extensive network of partner companies, organisations and professionals worldwide, we offer the breadth of an organisation big enough to matter to the world. Our professional careers are in higher education, international development and information technologies, allowing us to mesh our skills and expertise.
