NeSSA (Northeast Self Storage Association) encourages all northeastern self storage facilities of all sizes to become part of the voice that represents the industry in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. We also invite those who provide services and products to self storage facilities to join NeSSA as vendor members. Mission The mission of the Northeast Self Storage Association (NeSSA) is to strengthen the self storage industry by promoting professional standards and quality, and by presenting a unified voice on issues affecting the industry in the northeastern United States. Purpose 1.To provide leadership and open lines of communication on issues that affect the self storage industry. 2.To define and assert standards of excellence in the self storage in the industry. 3.To provide opportunities for members to increase their knowledge of the self storage industry through research, discussion, and exchange of information. 4.To support, communicate, and cooperate with the national Self Storage Association (“SSA”). Legislative Activity NeSSA is actively involved in tracking bills at the State level for Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. There is strength in numbers. Affiliated with National NeSSA states are an affiliate of the Self Storage Association (SSA), the national association of self storage facilities.
