About Nunnally Fine Archtop Instruments
Mike Nunnally is a master craftsman and a thirty-year veteran of the woodworking industry. In 2006 he closed his architectural millwork company to pursue some life-long interests, one of which was music. He soon discovered he had far more talent for making instruments than for playing them. He quickly turned his focus to acoustics research and experimentation–a never-ending process–and the results are evident in his instruments. Mike has a BS in Earth Science from UNC-Charlotte. He is also a competitive amateur golfer and a novice jazz musician. He lives and works in Wilmington, North Carolina.
