Oasis Health’s line of Premium Products was formulated by Rheumatologists for Physicians to provide patients a natural, preventative approach as part of their overall wellness plan. Dr. Munoz is a board-certified rheumatologist and internist, fellowship-trained in Rheumatology/Immunology at the Harvard Medical School affiliates, The Brigham and Women’s Hospital and The Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He has practiced in Miami since 1985 and is affiliated with both the University of Miami and Florida International Schools of Medicine as Voluntary Clinical Faculty. In 2008, he completed a second fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine (AZCIM) (www.integrativemedicine.arizona.edu/) founded by Andrew Weil, MD and was the first Integrative Rheumatology recipient of the Jones Lovell Rheumatology Scholar Endowed Chair Award in the United States. Dr. Munoz holds numerous certifications in Integrative modalities including Homeopathy, Bio-Identical Hormone Training, Acupuncture and over a decade of medical anthropology and energy medicine training with first source indigenous healers such as the Shuar of the Ecuadorian Amazon and in the Inca descendants in the Peruvian Andes, known as the Quero. He is a national speaker, lecturer, published author, and co-editor on various Integrative Medicine topics including Men’s Health (Oxford University Press (OUP) 2014), Geriatrics, and Addiction.
