About Ocean Community
Ocean Community - is a global nonprofit driving transformative ocean solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Since 2020, we have built a thriving platform with 7,000 followers and 490 individual members from 38 countries. Through our learning and innovation programs, and a powerful global network in the Sustainable Blue Economy, we empower individuals, founders, and startups to grow and make an impact. Our annual innovation challenge has enabled 58 teams, with this year's edition attracting 48 solutions from 27 countries — all achieved through our own bootstrapped efforts. We operate as a non-profit environmental association (associação ambiental), and any funds or profits are reinvested into our learning platform, the annual Ocean Community Challenge, our pre-accelerator program, and the broader community.
