About Open Book Publishers
We are an Open Access, non-profit academic publisher, run by scholars based at Cambridge and London. We are committed to making high-quality research freely available to readers around the world. We publish books in the Humanities and Social Sciences, and offer paperback, hardback and ebook editions as well as free online editions of all our titles. Our authors range from Nobel laureate Amartya Sen to early-career academics, and all our books are double peer-reviewed to ensure their high quality for research. Our digital publishing model allows us to offer add-on online material (e.g. extra chapters, audio clips and image galleries). We are also building open source software to support the publication of OA books and to lower the barriers faced by other presses so that they can also publish OA books.
