About OpenEmbassy
We are building an evidence-based system of integration and inclusion. We do this by transforming the lived experience of newcomers building their lives in the Netherlands into knowledge to inform policy. This way we work on effective newcomer policies that allow newcomers to participate fully. OpenEmbassy believes in an inclusive society. Our starting point is the question: what do the newcomers need? And how can the society fulfill this need? To achieve this OpenEmbassy collaborates with newcomers, social organisations, authorities and all other stakeholders in the field of integration. We conduct research and improve the integration utilising contemporary and effective methods such as action research and learning environments. This way we make impact > individually, by answering your question; > locally, by connecting people and building stronger communities and > systemically, by advising, educating and supporting municipalities in their journey towards better and more efficient integration policy.
