Our primary goal is to address the issue of hunger and malnutrition through both community and residential gardens as well as providing a hands on learning experience with research based organic gardening education and practices. Our activities will help improve people’s quality of life by stimulating social interaction, encouraging self-reliance producing nutritious food, reducing family food budgets, conserving resources and creating opportunities for recreation, exercise, and education while providing a catalyst for neighborhood and community development.
