Pacific Asia Design Group, Inc. was created with the goal of providing a high standard of design quality, while offering presence and responsiveness to our clients. With over forty years of experience in Hawaii and the Pacific Rim, PADG’s principal, Ann N. Matsunami, AIA, and her team have continuously demonstrated the leadership necessary for providing high quality design for an extensive list of clientele. Our design philosophy embraces the principals of functional, appropriate, and aesthetic solutions. PADG’s objective is to create original design that meets the marketing and budgetary constraints of our clients and that is environmentally, culturally, and community responsive. Architecture Full range of architectural services include code analysis, due diligence, concept design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. PADG provides strong project management to maintain communication, organization, and scheduling – resulting in good teamwork and on-time delivery. Moreover, PADG’s years in Hawaii have resulted in an excellent knowledge and familiarity with related trades such as consulting engineers, contractors, and building officials. Interior Design Interior design services include working with an owner or owner’s representative and/or operator to develop images or visions of the project to create a desired ambiance. Services also include development of design concepts and documentation for interior spaces, space planning, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment design and specifications. Specialty service include providing amenities and artwork selection and specifications. Planning & Programming Programming and planning services include the examination of site potentials and fitment, code research, and development of programming requirements. Site analysis and the physical planning of projects can be enhanced by PADG’s capability to address architectural and concept design solutions concurrently.
