I am a professional with over twenty years of varied legal and administrative experience. I have worked for both plaintiff and defense firms, commercial in-house legal departments, and for the United States government, as legal staff for the Department of Justice. I have also served as a legislative assistant and office manager for both an elected state representative and senator. I have been called to successfully lead others and relish the opportunity to be part of the solution. I thoroughly enjoy people, and contributing to the progress of others. My previous work experience includes but it not limited to the U.S. Attorney's Office of the Department of Justice, The Louisiana State Senate and House of Representatives, Acadiana Legal Services Corporation, a federally funded non-profit organization as well as plaintiff and defense firms, and other private and public corporations. In addition to my varied legal experience, I also attained NALA Certified Paralegal (CP) Professional Credential (2000-2016). The credential has been recognized by the American Bar Association as a designation which marks a high level professional achievement. The CP credential has also been recognized by over 47 legal assistant organizations and numerous bar association. Further, I enriched my experience by earning my bachelors, masters, and Juris Doctor, while working full-time.
