About Peer Hub

Peer Hub CIC is a user-led, non-profit organisation developing lived-experience led projects for communities in the North East of England. We work primarily in the field of mental health, trauma and social justice, focusing on local solutions to the circumstances that cause people's lives to be interrupted by mental health issues. As our organisation grows, our services will include peer support, alternatives to crisis, user-led advocacy and user-commissioned services for people who are experiencing significant and immediate challenges because of their mental health and/or experiences of trauma. Training and Consultancy: Be The Change We provide training and consultancy about intelligence-led organisational change and service design using our evidenced best-practice formula for large scale change. Our specialist areas are the implementation of user-led approaches, such as peer support or lived experience service design, and how to transform your organisational culture to be trauma informed or work with coproduction as its default. Being user-led, our focus is on transformational change across our community that will improve the lives of people like us, who experience life interrupting distress. Our training and consultancy services put the needs of people with mental health challenges at the centre of everything we do, embedding the practices that enable organisations to be intentional and dynamic about meeting people's needs. By enabling organisations to transform their approach to strategic decision making, implementing change and managing performance, we equip practitioners, organisations and workplaces with the skills and knowledge to 'Be The Change' now, and for the future.
