About Picnic Design
Picnic Design is a Toronto-based architecture and interior design firm led by founding principals Joanne Lam, (OAA, LEED AP) and Eric Martin (AOCAD Env. Design, BCIN). Our experience spans over 25 years working in multiple cities on a wide range of project types, particularly residential, and multi-unit residential in urban centres. We view urban design, architecture and interior design as a single, integrated discipline that drives our way of thinking. By anticipating the dynamics of urban living and community in the details of design, we seek to enhance the experience of the built environment that surrounds us. Our approach considers all functionalities of the designed space, both inside and out: as a home or a home-work space, as a place for celebration, or a quiet escape.
