Il team Polimi Motorcycle Factory nasce nel 2015 da un’idea di cinque studenti di Ingegneria Meccanica, con l’obiettivo di prendere parte alla manifestazione dedicata, MotoStudent. Ad ottobre 2016 c’è stata la prima partecipazione del team alla competizione, portando a casa buoni risultati. Nel 2018 il team si è laureato Campione del Mondo nella categoria Petrol. Nel 2021 abbiamo gareggiato con il nostro primo prototipo elettrico. Nel 2023 ci siamo laureati vice-Campioni del Mondo nella categoria Elettrica. Ad oggi il team è composto da circa 120 membri organizzati in 4 diversi reparti coordinati da un Professore tutor, Alan Facchinetti, e dalla Gestione Sportiva. MOTOSTUDENT: www.motostudent.com Con più di 1500 studenti partecipanti, 60 Università provenienti da tutto il mondo Motostudent sta diventando sempre più una realtà affermata nel panorama delle competizioni motorsport studentesche. L’obiettivo di ogni team è quello di progettare e realizzare il prototipo di una moto da corsa per confrontarsi con le altre università sul campo, nel circuito Motorland di Aragón, in Spagna.
