At Polycom Škofja Loka d. o. o. we provide the services of plastic mass processing and exacting injection tool manufacturing. We produce technically exacting products and assemble components for various fields: - the automobile industry, - compression technique, - the electro industry, - household appliances, - products for personal care. We endeavour not only to satisfy but also to exceed your wishes, made possible by our professional qualification. We started in 1985, with one manual type plastic injection machine in the basement of our family house in Škofja Loka. Hard work and considerable sacrifice enabled us to introduce the first automated machines for simpler products. We consistently increased the exactingness of our products, broadening our knowledge and employing new staff. In 1990, we moved to our present location, with the real breakthrough appearing in 1995: - We increased the number of employees from 10 to 59. - We invested all the profits into new equipment, automation and robotisation. - We bought and equipped our manufacturing and business premises, an area of 4,500 m2. Now we have over 270 employees. Our vision is to become a system supplier for the automobile industry and a recognised supplier of components for remaining fields. We realise our vision by executing the company's strategic plans, which are: - ensuring the satisfaction of our customers, partners, employees and the owners of the company; international acknowledgement on the European market, - implementation of the constant improvement process with the aim of reducing expenses, - ensuring quality, - constant education and training of our employees, and - environmental protection.
