About Polyglass

The spirit of Polyglass has deep roots. It all began with the hard work of three brothers who committed themselves to the production of roof coverings in the 60s. Thanks to an intuition to combine many different materials, such as bitumen and polymers, the business became a small industry. This consequently grew to an industrial scale and was the beginning of an expansion which also saw Polyglass present in the United States with its own manufacturing facility. The international dimension is growing at the same rate as the scientific research, with the objective of constantly offering new solutions which are increasingly simple and efficient. Just as the support of fibreglass helps to sustain the non woven material. In addition to the traditional membranes which are applied by torching, self-adhesive membranes have also been added to the range. This means the absence of smoke during elaboration and no compound dispersion which otherwise would have been liquefied. This also means technological progress coupled with environmental and safety awareness. 35 years have passed since the foundation of Polyglass in 1969 and all those years have brought about many changes. Yet the company spirit remains the same.
