About Poway OnStage (PCPA Foundation)

Poway Center for the Performing Arts Foundation (dba Poway OnStage) was formed in 1990 to present a series of professional concerts, plays and family programming at the 809-seat Poway Center for the Performing Arts. Functioning through a special partnership with the City of Poway and the Poway Unified School District, the center draws audience from throughout San Diego County with world-class talent from the worlds of drama, music, dance, comedy and more. Presented in partnership with the Poway Unified School District, these programs include musical assemblies, master classes with visiting artists, a weeklong theater camp and, developed in 2020, a series of Virtual Field Trips that pair recorded performances with enhancement activities that help meet State Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) standards.
