Prime Transport Planning Ltd are an independent transport planning consultancy formed in 2016. Based in the North West the team serve mainly private sector development clients, providing highways, transport and traffic engineering advice in support of development proposals through the planning process. The team has a combined experience of over 50 years in both public sector organisations and private sector consultancy having provided advice to clients from varying sectors within the development industry including residential, commercial, retail, healthcare and energy. Prime also understand regeneration, with members of the team having worked on numerous town/city centre regeneration projects, allowing them to appreciate the varying needs of developers, local authorities and end user requirements from a transport and accessibility perspective.. Input to sub-regional studies has also allowed members of the team to appreciate the importance of linkage and connectivity by various transport modes and the role this plays in spatial planning. Prime’s national coverage has allowed them to develop excellent working relationships with many other professionals in the development industry throughout the country and also to gain an understanding into the issues faced by officers in the various local authorities. Prime’s ethos is to deliver projects on time and within budget, achieving resolutions to transport issues that meet both the aspirations of local authorities whilst maintaining the financial viability of projects for our clients.
