Purpose Accounting is a boutique financial management and advisory company, dedicated to serving non-profits and social enterprises. We inform, collaborate and lead, to help organisations make great decisions. Our client base ranges from small to medium enterprises, through to large organisations and Government bodies. Our services are tailored for each individual client – there’s not a cookie cutter in sight. We have a range of diverse and complementary skill sets across the team – from financial management and CPA-qualified accounting professionals, to strategic financial advisors. With many years’ experience serving non-profit and social enterprise clients, our team has a deep appreciation of the social, cultural and political aspects unique to the sector. Our practitioners are current in their knowledge of sector issues impacting funding, accounting standards, available technologies and compliance. We stay at the forefront of industry developments and policy / legislative reforms – so we can help our clients be agile in an ever-changing environment. Purpose is an ATO BAS Agent and Xero Partner. Both of our Directors have been accounting services practitioners to non-profits since 2006-2007. Collectively they have prepared over 200 successful financial audits. Purpose works to synchronise financial management with strategy and culture, to increase an organisation’s social impact and financial viability.
