Founded in 2023 by four Dominicanas in New York City, ¿Que Lo Tech!?, started as a supportive community for Dominican women and allies entering or succeeding in technology roles. A play on the popular Dominican phrase Que lo Que or KLK, ¿Que Lo Tech!? Regularly hosts networking and social events to better connect professional Dominican women. Whether born on the island or elsewhere, our beautiful country and culture connects us as we support each other in our career paths. Our core principle is to offer mentorship, camaraderie, and culturally relevant psychological safety, fostering a judgment-free zone where members feel understood. We emphasize authenticity, acceptance, empowerment, and respecting the diverse heritage of Dominicans. Our unique value lies in fostering intimate, familial connections through small group settings, even in larger events, ensuring meaningful engagement.
