Public Radio for central Kansas with news in depth, classical and contemporary instrumental music. Serving over one-million with three transmitters - KHCC, 90.1 FM Wichita/Hutchinson, KHCD, 89.5 FM, Salina/Manhattan and 90.9 FM, Great Bend/Hays. Full-time roots station NewGrass Valley on HD2, "The Breeze," a full-time contemporary instrumental station on HD3, and a full-time jazz station on HD4. All HD stations accessible online at https://www.radiokansas.app Many of public radio's most successful managers and producers spent time at Radio Kansas early in their careers. The network is owned and operated as a public service by Hutchinson Community College.
