About re:MIND
re:MIND (formerly Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance Greater Houston) is a 501 C(3) Non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide free and confidential support groups for individuals living with, or family and friends affected by, depression and bipolar disorders. We have over 70 support groups at 50 site locations across the Greater Houston area. All of our adult groups are 1.5 hours long and free to attend. There is no registration required. Our groups are led by trained and passionate facilitators. Support groups are also managed and supervised by licensed mental health professionals to ensure quality. We provide peer process groups where individuals can talk about symptoms of depression and bipolar disorder and how these mental disorders affect people in their personal life, job and overall functioning. We provide a safe place to share ideas for coping, support, management and self-advocacy. If you live with depression or bipolar disorder or know someone who does then we hope you will join us.
