Rawalpindi Eye Donors Organization, REDO, as its name suggests was basically established for prevention, cure and re-habilitation of visually handicapped, and has been serving masses in this field since its inception in 1977. But lately, due to the increased interaction with local/rural communities where REDO has been establishing free eye camps for the last three decades, the members of REDO realized the need to enter other areas of community welfare and general health as well. Due to this diversification of activities REDO FOUNDATION was established to serve as the Governing Body for all present and future activities.
