Ridgeway Research Ltd. (RRL) (est. 1985) is one of the UK’s leading veterinary contract research organizations (CRO). We are both GCP and GLP compliant; we have conducted more than 200 studies. Our clients include many of the top ten global animal health companies, yet we also have contacts with individual farmers and veterinarians, allowing us to work in a variety of fields. The CRO element of the company specialises in livestock studies for R&D projects, although we are not limited to these areas. We have a broad scope of knowledge and take pride in the conduct and speed of our study management - utilising the expertise of both our research and parasitology departments to perform studies to stringent deadlines. We also have access to a Biosafety Level 2 Containment Facility to perform studies on more dangerous pathogens. As a CRO, we typically work with livestock species including cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, poultry and game birds and our facilities reflect this. We can define product formulation/safe dosage for your investigatory product. This applies for pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, as well as toxicity and residue studies. Our research department also has the capacity to offer a medical writing service. Ridgeway is host to a dedicated parasitology department with experienced personnel for the purpose of cultivation, identification and analytics of parasites. Our diagnostics laboratory can test for worm egg counts, ectoparasites and endoparasites. We also have a sister company in Ridgeway Science (RS), which conducts R&D work for RRL as well as offering testing services.
