About Rochester Colonial Mfg
Founded in 1947, Rochester Colonial is one of the oldest yet most innovative window and door companies in America. We offer an unparalleled selection of residential and commercial windows, doors, hardware, and awnings on both an installed and supply-only basis. Our customers include homeowners, homebuilders, remodelers, general contractors, owners of commercial and multi-family properties both large and small, and institutional/non-profit clients such as municipalities, universities, school districts, churches and hospitals. Entering our eighth decade of service, it is nearly impossible to live in Rochester region for any length of time without looking out one of our windows or walking through one of our doors. Our 100 employees hold certifications from leading industry associations such as the Building Performance Institute (BPI), Construction Specifications Institute, Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), and InstallationMasters (American Architectural Manufacturers Association). We are certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to perform lead-based renovation and repair. We are members of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), Institute for Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA), the Better Contractors Bureau, the Better Business Bureau (A+ rating), the Rochester Home Builders Association (RHBA), and the Rochester chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). In addition to offering a comprehensive selection of windows, doors, hardware and awnings from the nation’s leading manufacturers we also manufacture our own highly custom hardwood windows and doors under the brand name Heartwood. Our Heartwood windows and doors are found in landmark homes and historic buildings throughout the United States, including the Capitol Building in Washington, home of the US Congress.
