Rockshore Advisors is a boutique M&A firm built to help entrepreneurs and business owners unlock value through strategic exits. We specialize in cross-border and mid-market transactions, with a strong focus on insurance brokerages and international companies selling to U.S. buyers. We're hands-on, agile, and driven to get deals done with the right partners at the right time. Our President, Sheldon Brickman, has over 20 years of M&A advisory and business development experience, totaling more than $40 billion in deal value. He has worked for various multibillion dollar insurance carriers, including AIG, Aetna and National General. Sheldon has assisted international companies (in the UAE, UK, Asia and Latin America), startup operations, and regional insurance carriers. Our experience covers the property & casualty and life/healthcare markets, including working with insurance carriers, managing general agencies, wholesalers, retailers and third party administrators. Prior to starting Rockshore Advisors, Sheldon served as Head of International M&A and Business Development for Aetna International. Previously Sheldon worked at AIG for more than 17 years in various executive level M&A and business development positions around the world where he was responsible for buying and selling numerous businesses on behalf of the Company. Before joining AIG Sheldon spent four years at Hanwa Company LTD, and three years at the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Brickman received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brooklyn College and is a CPA in New York State.
