Pilates is a low impact form of exercise, focused on improving posture, alignment and core strength to ensure muscles work safely and effectively. The approach is centred around developing strong muscle balance around key joints, whilst ensuring good spinal mobility. For runners, good alignment and core strength is essential to ensure the force transferred through the legs is distributed effectively to avoid pain in areas such as the lower back, knees and hips. This is why Pilates is the perfect match to help stay injury free. RUNLATES offers: - Bespoke programmes tailored to individual goals - a combination of Pilates 1-2-1s and group classes with friendly in-built support, 'homework' and regular check-ins to monitor progress. - Group programmes tailored to audience - combining both physical and online, live and pre-recorded content as needed. These work well in conjunction with run clubs/running groups and are perfect for corporate clients. - LIVE online classes along with private sessions. All classes are delivered by a certified STOTT Pilates instructor, also trained in Pilates for Runners with APPI.
