About SASHA

Students Against Sexual Harassment and Assault (SASHA) raises awareness and campaigns against issues related to sexual assault and rape culture prevalent in universities and wider communities. We aim to: - Provide a safe space for everyone no matter their gender, race, sexuality, disabilities or experiences. - We host Sip and Social every Wednesday, where everyone is welcome to chill with other like-minded students! - Educate on issues around sexual violence (SV), including consent and understanding the normalisation of SV in our daily lives. - We hope to empathise real-life experiences with sexual violence rather than just statistics. - Have a positive effect on the campuses of Leeds and push for better approaches to sexual assault everywhere.
