About Scaftec
Scaftec Ltd - UK / international scaffold design consultants were established in 1995, and have grown steadily to incorporate over 130 years of experience in the scaffolding / engineering industry. We have 10 engineers with academics ranging from BEng Hons C Eng MICE to BSc all in civil / structural engineering all with scaffold specific knowledge. Scaftec Ltd main office is located in Glasgow where work is carried out throughout the UK and overseas. Scaftec (Northern) Ltd is a separate trading company specialising in offshore scaffold design. Scaftec Australia Pty is based in Perth Western Australia producing designs for various industrial sectors such as mining and petrochemical. Scaftec provide a range of professional scaffold design services tailored to the specific needs of a broad client base with the focus being on scaffold design. The Construction Design and Management (CDM) regulations (2007), and Working at Height regulations (2005) have increased the requirement for scaffold design drawings and calculations as well as risk assessments and method statements for inclusion in site Health & Safety files. Scaftec were the first scaffold design company to become members of the National Access & Scaffolding Confederation (NASC) and remain NASC information members.
