Scott Management Consulting Ltd (formerly RDC Group Ltd) was formed in October 2016 to deliver outstanding consulting services to the public sector in New Zealand and overseas. We are passionate about creating value and working with leaders of organisations to develop high performing teams and strategies to meet difficult challenges. Our director and associates have worked extensively as senior leaders in New Zealand, Australia and the United States, and we understand the challenges leaders and public sector organisations face. The wide range of assignments we have undertaken reflect the diverse experience and skills we are able to offer our clients and the networked nature of our operating model. We also utilise, where necessary, a network of experienced consultants to help in delivering on client outcomes. Recent Assignments: Development of a Future-fit Operating Framework This piece of work used a collaborative approach to develop a jointly agreed framework for a large NZ transport agency that integrated strategies, approaches, and other elements of the transport system. Review of Corporate Services Recently we undertook a review for a central agency to determine what model of corporate services would best meet the needs of "the client" now and into the future. Change Project Review Working with the Deputy Secretary People, Capability and Resources in conjunction with the Chief Information Officer of an education sector agency, we carried out an independent review of how a change to a critical Ministry system was commissioned, governed and implemented. Review of Operating Model Working with the Director in the property group of a large public sector agency, we reviewed future state options and advised on models that would allow them to meet current government expectations and foreseeable future requirements.
