About SELIT North America
WHERE INNOVATION MEETS PASSION For more than 40 years, SELIT North America has specialized in the extrusion of synthetic foams at the highest quality level. Our focus is on the production of underlayment for laminate flooring, hardwood flooring, LVT, WPC, SPC and RCBs. Since 2010, we have operated and produced our products at our production site in Plattsburgh, NY. At the end of 2019, we opened our second production site in Commerce, GA and approached an annual output of 800 million square feet in North America. Our products are sold directly to the flooring industry for pre-attached applications or are converted and packaged by our company partner to be sold in national home improvement stores. An important foundation to our success is our close collaboration with our customers and technology partners. We value the complementary exchange of experience and input that allows us to make our innovative foam solutions possible. Sustainable and environmentally conscious actions are important cornerstones of our corporate values. We strive to use materials that have as little of an impact on the environment as possible. All of our foams are 100% recyclable due to state-of-the-art recycling equipment which allows our production-related foam waste to be shredded, regranulated, and returned to the production process. Our consistent energy management ensures the efficient use of energy sources in our buildings, and production processes.
