About Shambles restaurant & winebar
Independently run by a brother and sister with a passion for food and wine. Massimo & Margherita follow the traditions of Italian cooking and let the ingredients do the talking, serving high quality, fresh seasonal produce from the British Isles and Italy with some ingredients grown onsite. Shambles has one of the prettiest outdoor restaurant gardens in the borough, it truly feels like a magical escape and with cosy warm indoor fireplaces in the winter, it's the perfect spot all year round. The hand crafted menu from our sourdough focaccia, fresh pasta (prepared by Lina, our very own Italian pasta mamma) to our amaretti biscuits are all hand made with love and there’s an extensive, well thought through wine list, not forgetting Massimo’s delicious barrel aged Negroni. We're keen to always strengthen our sustainability values and goals and we're incredibly proud to offer 'first job' opportunities to young people in our community.
