We are truly a rare breed of Envelope Manufacturer, in that most of our envelopes never see the inside of a post office or a mailbox. Instead we use our folding machines to create new products for the needs of the 21st century, like smartcard credit card sleeves that can protect personal identity from being hijacked off the face of the card without the victims knowledge. Our Identity TheftGuard products stop this kind of electronic theft cold in its tracks. Although we are constantly on the lookout for new packaging opportunities outside the mail stream, we continue to make millions of traditional envelopes from our inventory of rolls and sheets of white paper, as well as from very expensive paper, printed in full color, which we receive from New England Finest Printers for conversion into gorgeous envelopes. Our skilled employees, working in a modern plant equipped with the best technology for accomplishing the desired results, and led by a progressive thinking, knowledgeable management team are key ingredients to delivering exceptionally high customer satisfaction and repeat orders. Our team members have been responsible for several envelope related patents, and our entire facility (machines and people) have been contracted by Fortune 500 Companies to create and test new products that they hoped to bring to market. Sheppard Envelope Co. was a founding member of the Envelope Manufacturer’s Association. We are also an active member of the Printing Industry of New England (PINE) and other trade associations. Over the years, we have been the recipient of many prestigious awards, including, in 2013, the highest award that can be bestowed by PINE, a “Pinnacle” Award for our conversion of high quality printed flat sheets into envelopes for the RR Donnelley Corporation.
