About SIM-SA

SIM was founded back in 1946. Since then SIM has managed to get a strong position in the lighting automotive market. A wide range of products is manufactured by SIM: headlamps, rear lamps, bulb and LED type, work lamps, auxiliary lamps and reflex reflectors. These products are designed for commercial vehicles, truck and trailers, work and agricultural machines and even to some motorcycles. Additionally they include wiring sets which might be customised and ready to fit as per OEM client’s requirements. SIM guarantees the integral development of the product since the early stage of the research and development, through the tooling and moulds design and production, the test and essays procedures, the production of each component and to the final product assembly. This involvement plus a systematic quality control ensures the delivery of products that satisfy the most demanding customers These capabilities combined with the experience resulting on more than 70 years have enabled SIM to sell through by a distribution network spread over than 50 countries either for OEM or the after market. The export market means a share of about 90% of SIM turnover. The technological evolution and the knowledge of the several markets have been the main factors in the company’s investment allocation to get more modern and more efficient equipments in order to increase product value and to reduce its cost. Nowadays, with a capital of 624,800 Euros, SIM employs about 160 workers. A policy of sustained growth has been adopted by investing in high technology and in high standards of quality, being environment-friendly, producing innovative products and betting in the expertise of its human resources.
