About SONCHALON
An organization named "SONCHALON" was formed by some students of various departments of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, which is a voluntary organization solely dedicated to blood donation. This is completely a non-political organization. The main objective of this organization is to make people conscious and inspire them to donate blood. If necessary we donate blood directly to the deprived ones. We also organize programs relating to anti-smoking and prevention of drug addiction. Not only that, we have helped the flood affected people during the devastating flood in Sylhet. We have organized several charity film fests for raising funds for the people under critical health conditions. Along with that, we have also helped the underprivileged people by donating warm clothes during the winter season.
