About Southern Indiana Community Health Care
Southern Indiana Community Health Care (SICHC) is a non-profit FQHC ( federally qualified health center) committed to providing a broad spectrum of primary health care ( including obstetrics) and mental health care using a team-based care model. For almost 50 years, SICHC's mission of serving others by providing important basic health services to a medically under served, rural community has been made a difference. As we became an FQHC with additional grant funding, the team has added several more offices and added staff to help with chronic care nursing, navigation, addiction/ recovery treatment, mental health therapy, and assistance with social services. We provide office care for infants and children, pregnancy care, and adult health care, including when it extends into hospital, nursing home and school based care. We have grown to having 7 sites and 130 employees, and yet there are still so unmet many needs in our communities so we are looking for primary care providers for both the medical and health care team.....nurse practitioners, therapists, physicians ( with and without OB) and midwives. We welcome inquiries.
