About Southern Snow Seekers Ski Club Inc

The Southern Snow Seekers Ski Club is one of the largest Ski clubs in the South. Our Atlanta, GA based club was founded in 1983 with eleven (11) members. Currently, our membership exceeds 250! We are a 501(c)(7) non-profit organization and a member of the National Brotherhood of Skiers (NBS), the NBS Eastern Region and the National Ski Council Federation (NSCF). The NBS was chartered in 1974 and consists of 84 clubs throughout the US and one in London, England. The CSC was formed in 1969 and consists of 22 clubs throughout the Southeast US. One of the Southern Snow Seekers Ski Club's goals is to support the mission of the NBS at the local level. The primary challenge of the NBS is to identify and fund high-caliber youth skiers capable of winning a berth on the U.S. Olympic Ski Team. The Southern Snow Seekers Ski Club promotes the sports of snow skiing and snowboarding among people of color and supports the National Brotherhood of Skiers in identifying a high-caliber minority skier in winning a berth on the U.S. Olympic Ski Team.
